Privacy policy

VBS AI ("we", "us") makes browser extensions and an Android app that help drivers book delivery slots on port vehicle booking systems. This page explains what information they use, where it goes and what we do not do. Questions: hello@vbsai.app.

In short: we do not sell your data, we do not show adverts, and we do not track your browsing. The tools only act on the booking website you chose, and almost everything they store stays on your own device.

What stays on your device

Your settings: the day, time, refresh speed and similar choices you set in the control bar.
Your booking-site login, if you type it into the control bar so it can be filled in for you. It is stored in the extension's or app's private storage on your device. It is sent only to the booking website itself, to sign you in. It is never sent to us.
Booking choices you make on the booking pages (for example the terminal or ticked boxes), so they can be put back after the site signs you out.

What is sent to us

To check you have paid access, the tools send a check to our database (Google Firebase Realtime Database):

Your VBS AI access password, as a one-way hash. The password is scrambled on your device before it is checked, and we do not receive the password itself.
A short "in use" record (which tool, and the time it last checked in) so that one password is used on one device at a time.

We keep, for each access password: a label we choose to tell customers apart (for example a name or order reference), its status and its expiry date.

What is sent to other services

Cloudflare	Standard web server logs (such as your IP address) when you visit vbsai.app	Hosts this website.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your information.
We do not use it for adverts, profiling or anything unrelated to booking slots.
We do not read your browsing history or run on websites other than the booking sites listed in each extension.
We do not download or run code from outside the extension or app.

Notifications

The tools can show a notification on your device when a booking is made or you need to sign in. These are created on your device and nothing is sent to us.

How long we keep information

Settings and logins on your device stay until you clear them or remove the tool. Access records are kept while your access is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you are in the UK. Email hello@vbsai.app and we will reply promptly.

Not affiliated with the ports

VBS AI is an independent tool. It is not made by, endorsed by or connected with Pentalver, Tilbury, the Port of Felixstowe, Southampton or any of their operators.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Continuing to use the tools after a change means you accept it.
